AGOA Zambia Civil Society Workshop

CUTS Lusaka in collaboration with Caritas Zambia and the Jesuit Centre for Theological Refection (JCTR) organized a half day Civil Society conclave on African Growth Opportunity Act (AGOA) Zambia at Kapingila House. The meeting was graced by the Deputy Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Hon Richwell Siamunene MP.
The objective was to review Zambia’s performance and level of the Civil Society’s engagement on the AGOA in the last 12 months as well as defining common grounds for preparation of a Zambian CSO position for the 12th AGOA session scheduled for 9th to 13th August 2013 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia .
