Lusaka, January 18-19, 2024
On 18th and 19th January, 2024, CUTS Lusaka and the Global Network Solutions (GNS) held an agribusiness youth training in Chongwe to enhance financial literacy, agro enterprise, and agricultural marketing skills among the youth.
Our goal is clear: to build climate-resilient and sustainable agro enterprises. The training underscored the importance of environmentally sustainable business practices.
During the training, National Savings and Credit Bank (NATSAVE) shared valuable insights, emphasizing that financial literacy begins with effective financial management, starting with budgeting. She also highlighted on the NATSAVE’s Pamodzi Saving account, a group savings account accessible in both urban and rural areas with a book balance of K20.00.
CUTS and GNS have joined forces in a four-year project to empower Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs) in youth, focusing on urban agriculture technology for sustainable food production and innovation. Hivos International is a crucial partner, supporting our mission to bring about a positive transformation in Chongwe city.
