Capacity building of stakeholders for the effective implementation of the Competition and Consumer Protection

Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS) International Lusaka in collaboration with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) held a one-day workshop on 7th March, 2011 at Golden Bridge Hotel. The objective of the workshop was to build the capacity of stakeholders for the effective implementation of the Competition and Consumer Protection Act (2010). The workshop drew participants from the media, sector regulators, the academia and civil society with the aim of bringing to prominence the tenets of the provisions of the new act.
