Civil Society Organisations held a media breakfast to share their reactions and analysis of the 2025 National Budget. Key highlights included allocations to the social, agriculture, and mining sectors, as well as responses to drought management.
The meeting held on 4th October 2024, emphasized that, despite the country’s ongoing challenges, prudent resource utilization will be essential to navigating the current economic landscape successfully.
The consortium included Publish What You Pay, PELUM, Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR), ADRA, CUTS, Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection (JCTR), Centre for Environmental Justice (CEJ), and Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ).
