CUTS team conducted a Capacity Building Workshop and Community Engagement Meeting at Kalonga High School, fostering insightful discussions on public procurement in Zambia’s education sector.
The sessions focused on dissecting legislative and regulatory frameworks governing public procurement, emphasizing the critical role of civic engagement in promoting transparency and efficiency. Key stakeholders, including the Office of the District Commissioner, the District Education Board Secretary, and the Council Secretary’s Office, facilitated the discussions.
By equipping communities with knowledge and tools to enhance public procurement practices, CUTS is strengthening accountability and ensuring better service delivery in the education sector. Together, we are working toward a more transparent and efficient system for the benefit of all!
