CUTS made a submission to the Local Governance, Housing, and Chiefs Affairs Committee on the 2025 budget estimates for Head 29 (Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development) and Head 92 (Central Province).
Key highlights of the submission included:
Increased infrastructure development
Higher CDF allocations
Boost in water resource funding
Capacity building for Ward Development Committees (WDCs)
