On 19th October 2022, the Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) partnered with Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS) Lusaka and the Sustainable Development Goals Center for Africa (SDGCA) to implement the SADC regional integration project in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Tanzania, which is part of the Integrated Institutional Capacity-Building (IICB) by the SADC Secretariat for NSAs/CSOs Stakeholders financed under the 11th European Development Fund (EDF).
The project dubbed “Engagement for Results: Capacitating National Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and their networks to effectively participate in the SADC regional integration process,” identified implementing partners in respective countries and ZCC is the implementing partner in Zimbabwe. The project implementing activities included capacity building for the NSAs for effective participation in SADC regional integration processes.
