Lusaka, July 13, 2023
CUTS in collaboration with the Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) held a national advocacy workshop on 13th July, 2023 at Mulungushi International Conference Centre. This meeting was intended for CSOs and their networks in the SADC region to effectively participate in the SADC regional integration process.
This forum sought to:
i) Familiarize civil society organizations with SADC vision 2050 and RISDP (2020-2030);
ii) Promote reliable dialogue with key representatives of CSOs to move the SADC Vision forward;
iii) Provide a platform for improving access to, and exchange, of information and knowledge by SADC Member States and the region’s ordinary citizens; and
iv) Strengthen the relationships between the SADC Institutions and the CSOs.
