GOVERNMENT should consider selling some of its assets and use proceeds to pay for the first Eurobond debt due in 2022.
“Government needs to use its available resources to develop a legitimate refinancing strategy for its debt repayments,” Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS) centre coordinator Chenai Mukumba said.
