The workshop was organized jointly by ODCMT and CUTS-ARC with the objective of creating a long term capacity for stakeholders to make use of the domestic and international trade through increased knowledge .Additionally, the objectives of the workshop was to further assess the effectiveness of trade policies in enhancing development and alleviating poverty all thus highlighting to them the CUTS TDP project. The participants were mainly farmers and they brought out critical issues that were of essence to the project whilst getting to gain understanding on linkages between Trade, Development and Poverty Reduction.
