December 3, 2024, was a thrilling and eye-opening experience for Urban futures youths from Chongwe, that visited Zambia’s National Assembly.
The visit was an eye-opening experience that deepened their understanding of Zambia’s legislative process, watching MPs debate live. Seeing them raise issues from their constituencies, propose solutions, and argue passionately and how the Speaker kept everyone focused and ensured every concerns were addressed before moving on.
A big thank you for the area Member of Parliament, Hon Sylvia Masebo who also serves as the Minister of Lands welcomed the youths and took photos with them.
