Zambia joined the rest of world in the commemoration of the World Consumer Rights Day on the 15th of March, 2011. CUTS participated in this yearly World consumer rights day commemoration. Zambia’s local theme for this year was “Consumer Rights and obligations-Knowledge is power”. The event was preceded with a match past and thereby giving of speeches. CUTS was the only CSO that gave an address at this event.
